Cookie Policy
This site lets you page through Midas catalogues and promotions. To do that, and to understand which brochures people find useful, we store a small amount of information in your browser. This page explains what is stored, why, and how you can change your mind.
What we store
Strictly necessary. A record of your cookie choice, so this notice does not reappear on every page. If you are a Midas administrator signing in to manage brochures, a sign-in token keeps you signed in while you work. The site cannot work properly without these.
Reading and measurement. An anonymous identifier for your browser, together with which brochure pages were opened, how long each page was on screen, and which link or advert brought you here. We use this to see which promotions are read and how our advertising performs. It is not linked to your name, and we do not use it to identify you.
Google Analytics. Google Analytics cookies help us count visits and see which pages are popular. Google acts as our processor for this and sets its own cookies in your browser.
Your choice and POPIA
We handle personal information in line with POPIA, the South African Protection of Personal Information Act. That means we tell you what we collect, we keep it to what we need, and you may ask us what we hold about you or object to its use.
You can change your cookie choice on this site at any time using the button below, or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you see, delete and block cookies from its settings, usually under Privacy. Clearing this site's stored data will also clear your cookie choice, so the notice will appear again on your next visit. Blocking all cookies will sign administrators out and stop the site from remembering your choice.
